AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Trailer is Smashing!

It feels that sooner than later we are going to hit Peak Superhero Movies. Just looking at the next 5 years alone can make you think that. It doesn't mean, however, that we won't have a good time getting tired of comic book movies. All of this goes to say that the new AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON trailer looks rad as hell. There's a lot more implied plot points here and even themes that might carry out all through CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR. The trailer comes courtesy of the ridiculous Twitter marketing stunt and Marvel Entertainment YouTube page and you can check it out below.

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Trailer Drops..Is It May Yet?

Marvel has been doing a fantastic job at just giving us little teases of their next Avengers film. The first trailer gave us a glimpse to the James Spader's Ultron persona, which I have a feeling will steal the film. And now a trailer was released tonight which shows much more action!

Here's the synopsis:
With S.H.I.E.L.D. destroyed and the Avengers needing a hiatus from stopping threats, Tony Stark attempts to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program with Ultron, a self-aware, self-teaching, artificial intelligence. However, his plan backfires when Ultron decides that humans are the main enemy and sets out to eradicate them from Earth, and it is up to Iron ManCaptain AmericaThor, the HulkBlack Widow and Hawkeye, along with support from Nick Fury and Maria Hill, to stop him from enacting his plans. Along the way, the Avengers encounter the powerful twins, Pietro and Wanda Maximoff, as well as the familiar Vision.

Check the trailer after the break.

It's here. Finally. No more waiting and guessing what we will see. Through not the best of circumstances, the first teaser for AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON has been leaked onto the web. It's full of everything you could want in a teaser, and will make the waiting over the next six months very, very painful.

Check it out after the break.

Top Disappointments of 2013: Jonesy's Take

2013 was a year of solid theatrical releases. While reading various sites and their lists of "bad movies" or "box office bombs", I realized I was lucky enough to miss most of those films that made those lists. Instead, I have my top five disappointments of 2013. These were films that had high expectations but failed to deliver for various reasons.

IRON MAN 3 Trailer Drops!

IRON MAN 3 poster Downey copy

Are you ready for round two? Now that the first set of Avengers films, we get to enjoy another set of individual Avengers films before the big sequel which is scheduled to be released in May 2015. The first one up for the second round (or in this case third) is IRON MAN 3. This third installment begins where THE AVENGERS left off where Tony Stark has saved the world and now must begin his life again.

I said when I posted the teaser trailer that this film is taking a darker tone from the first two, but after seeing the full length trailer, oh man, I got goosebumps.

Check it out!

Sportsball Bowl Trailer Watch: IRON MAN 3

This Beyonce show has some of the best commercials even if it has some weird sportsball dudes interrupting it. Anyway, the newest IRON MAN 3 trailer has shown up online. This particular trailer has an introduction by Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr.  Thanks to the Iron Man 3 Facebook group for posting this trailer online.

I know people are already bitching because the movie looks "dark and gritty" but I really think that writer/director Shane Black knows what's up.

IRON MAN 3 is directed by Shane Black and will be released May 3, 2013 starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Jon Favreau, and Ben Kingsley.

IRON MAN 3 Trailer Drops!

Now we're onto round two. After THE AVENGERS blew up the box office this past summer, the Marvel Universe is in full swing to get the sequels out about the individual Avengers. First, they're starting with IRON MAN 3. It seems this third installment happens in the wake of the events of THE AVENGERS, and it has effected Tony Stark considerably.

Here's the synopsis, which kind of puts me to sleep:
Marvel’s IRON MAN 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?
But the trailer makes up for it.Check it out after the break.
