Was it me, or did this week feel super long and jam packed? Maybe it's just my work. In any event, if you're not starting your Halloween festivities early this week, then here are some great funny films for you to sink your teeth into.

Fantastic Fest 2013 Wrap Up: Javi's Top Films
Finishing our Fantastic Fest coverage, Jonesy wrote about her favorite films here, and now its my turn.Piggy backing off what Jonesy said in her top movies of the festival, this was a hard festival to pick from. In the last few years, there have been some major standouts and this year really didn't have any, but not due to any fault of the programmers, it's actually because everything was that great.
So check out them picks after the break.

Most Anticipated Fantastic Fest 2013 Films - Jonesy's Take
In two days, the genre nerds of the world will descend upon Austin to bask in the glow of film, booze, and general debauchery. It's a glorious time of year, and it always feels like coming home. I'm ready to be surprised and shocked by the films I will see and the discussions I will have. It's tough to narrow a list down only five films that I'm anticipating, but it is my duty. As always, these are the films I'm excited to see, but I'm even more excited about the films that I just wonder into.
You can check out my cohort's list here, and check out my films after the break.

Most Anticipated Fantastic Fest 2013 Movies - Javi Edition
Y'all know the drill. Jonesy and I are going to Fantastic Fest in a couple days. It's gonna be a booze and movie filled weekend that will leave us recovering for the next three weeks. But the important thing here are the movies. Below are my five most anticipated movies. I'll be trying to highlight movies that I want to see, but also ones that I might not be able to see in the theaters. So obvious movies like ALL THE BOYS LOVE MANDY LANE, ESCAPE FROM TOMORROW, or A FIELD IN ENGLAND won't show up here.
We're going for the deep cuts, y'all.
Check them out after the break.

A few anticipated movies for me will be Ben Wheatley's A FIELD IN ENGLAND, Eugenio Mira's GRAND PIANO and Alejandro De La Iglesia's WITCHING AND BITCHING.
