INTERSTELLAR Trailer Drops Us Into Nolan's Vision of Space!

A few months ago, we got our first glimpse at INTERSTELLAR, Christopher Nolan's latest endeavor. The teaser showed us next to nothing, but now we have a full length trailer to keep our interest until later this year.

Here's the synopsis:
INTERSTELLAR will chronicle the adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.

Netflix Instant: TV and Movie Picks

By this time next week, we will be deep into our Dallas International Film Festival coverage. We will be bringing you coverage of all the local buzz and films showing. One of our favorites from 2012 is one of my recommendations this week, along with a couple other random films that I've enjoyed or can't wait to watch.

Enjoy!

 MUD
This was one of our favorites from a couple years ago. It's a wonderful coming-of-age story about two boys who come across a fugitive, played by McConaughey. He is fantastic as this mysterious drifter, and this film ended up being a stand out at DIFF in 2012. Check out my cohort's review.

CENTER STAGE: TURN IT UP
CENTER STAGE is THE dance movie that started the dance flick craze. I know many don't really care for those types of films, but even if the acting is bad and the story is cliche, which they normally are, there's always amazing dance numbers to make up for it. I completely forgot there was a sequel made...now I know what I'm watching this weekend!

RACHEL GETTING MARRIED
Before Anne Hathaway became insufferable, she sometimes acted in small, independent films. This is one of my favorites of hers. She plays an estranged sister who is home for a family wedding. The acting is fantastic, and it has one of the most fun looking weddings I've seen on film.

The Light is Winning: TRUE DETECTIVE Finale & Series Review

Please be warned that this will contain spoilers for the entire first season of TRUE DETECTIVE.

So how about it? TRUE DETECTIVE just finished its first stellar season with the eighth episode, "Form and Void," and unlike many other of the mystery-based shows and stories, it did not disappoint. Keep in mind, this will be more of a review about the finale and the show as a whole, not as a dissection of the episode or me looking for the hidden meanings of symbols or images within the episode.

INTERSTELLAR Teaser Drops And We Still Know Nothing!

INTERSTELLAR is director Christopher Nolan's first film since he finished his Dark Knight trilogy. As usual, we don't know a lot about the film, and even with this first teaser, we still know next to nothing!

Bits of information about INTERSTELLAR has surfaced. Here's a very, very basic plot description thanks to Deadline:
INTERSTELLAR will chronicle the adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.

The New THE WOLF OF WALL STREET Trailer Is Nearly Perfect...Just Needs More DiCaprio Dancing

There was speculation that Scorsese's new film, THE WOLF OF WALL STREET, was being pushed back to early 2014, which broke my heart. But, we now know that the film will be released on Christmas just in time for all of the Oscar race goodness. There's also a new trailer out, and even though the first trailer was pretty fantastic, this one somehow tops it.

Check it out after the break.

THE WOLF OF WALL STREET Trailer Shows DiCaprio's Sweet Dance Moves

The title of this article is a little misleading, but DiCaprio does bust a move towards the end of this trailer. THE WOLF OF WALL STREET will be DiCaprio and Scorsese's 5th collaboration. DiCaprio will portray Jordan Belfort, a former wall street tycoon who made millions but eventually was indicted for fraud and money laundering.

Even though this could have easily ended up a more serious look at the evil people of wall street, the trailer suggests more of a dark comedy.
