I Can't Wait For The Outrage On This One: Lucky McKee's THE WOMAN Trailer Hits

Javi here. There are those movies that you hear are so messed up that you just have to watch them.  The reasons are many but they all lead down the same path of you giving in to your curiosity for some perverse reason.  One of my most recent experiences like this is when I saw ANTI CHRIST just for hearing the outrage coming out of Cannes.  It ended up being one of my favorite movies of the year, and now I can say it's in my top movies of all time.  Last year there was A SERBIAN FILM, if you could get a hold of it, and now it seems that director Lucky McKee's THE WOMAN will be that movie this year. It tells the story of a family man doing some rather questionable things (do married men do anything but?) to a wild woman he finds while he is out hunting. Check out the trailer below.

I want to see the movie, but it's definitely not because of this trailer.  It seems to be taking a rather light approach to the obviously dark subject matter at hand, plus the trailer reminds me of a Rob Zombie movie, which is never a good thing.  Regardless it should be an interesting watch, I love for movies to challenge me.  There's no release date yet, but be sured to stay tuned for more information about this movie.

THE WOMAN is directed by Lucky McKee and is written by Jack Ketchum.  It stars Carlee Baker, Sean Bridgers , and Marcia Bennett
