Javi here with some weird stuff to start off your weekend right. Most movie fans will know writer/director Harmony Korine for his.... "unconventional" directing and writing style that was showcased in KIDS, GUMMO and most recently TRASH HUMPERS. I remember seeing GUMMO one very blurry night during college, and most of the time, I thought I was imagining most of the stuff going on screen. There is some very weird, grimy style and imagery that prevails through Harmony's work. I always feel like I'm in Garland (you know what I mean, Dallas natives) and it grosses me out a little. Imagine my surprise when Stereogum posted that Korine had directed a video for The Black Keys. This is a weird take on their hit song "Gold On the Ceiling." I'm pretty sure that one point there's dudes eating gold at one point? I found the video completely fascinating in just how bizarre it is. Check out the video below.
