Netflix Instant: TV and Movie Picks

I think the snow is finally thawing down here in Dallas, and Spring Break is about to start. Perfect timing. There are loads of great titles to catch up on, and if you need a break from House of Cards, like me, here are some great titles for you to enjoy to help you procrastinate on spring cleaning.

THE U and THE U PART 2
I'm a huge fan of the 30 for 30 series on ESPN. These two stories are two of the best ones produced by ESPN. It tells the story of the University of Miami becoming a powerhouse football program in the 80's, then getting in trouble and their downfall, then building their program back up again in the late 90's. The whole story almost sounds as if it was created in a Hollywood writing room, but it really happened.

OPEN WINDOWS
This thriller is about a fan, Elijah Wood, who is obsessed with a movie star. He gets to have a Skype conversation with her, but soon realizes someone is actually out to get her. The film uses various computer camera angles to tell the whole story. It's a great thriller, which my cohort enjoyed.

BILL AND TED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE
I saw this not too long ago at a special screening, and I was surprised at how funny and charming it was. I always wrote it off because of Keanu Reeves, but he's really great in the film. It's a fun movie to put on during a chill day when you're trying to avoid chores.
