I recently had a two week break and I burned through this BBC miniseries. Starring John Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe playing old and young versions of the titular doctor it's a very dark comedic look at the doctor's time in an isolated hospital. The tones are a little uneven. It's a little dark to be a full on comedy and it's funny enough to not be a drama. Either way, the story is tragic in its relateability and shows the fun in being a dumb and stupid kid through the eyes of an adult.
This one sounds pretty interesting starring Justin Long and Emmy Rossum as a couple that might be in parallel dimensions and are trying to have a relationship. This is a crapshoot in that it could either a be generic indie romance or something truly special. I guess we'll have to find out.
This is a p funny movie about a pair of best friends that decide to work as phone sex operators. The humor is raunchy but light-hearted and the leading ladies are so funny. Definitely worth a watch on a Friday night with some friends.
