Michael Bay only works in certain modes, for me. whenever he tries to go beyond raunchy humor and ridiculous action, he fails. Look at all but the first TRANSFORMERS movies as an example. But in PAIN & GAIN, he appears to be just going back to that silly, violent and "humourous" type of action movie he is known for. Check out this red-band, totes NSFW trailer after the break.

PAIN AND GAIN Trailer Only has Five Explosions; Is Considered Michael Bay's Most Intimate Movie Yet

Michael Bay is anything but subtle. This PAIN & GAIN trailer definitely shows us this and this is supposed to be his "indie" movie. Anyway, the movie deals with body building bros being bros and watching too many Coen Bros. movies. Just like with a Coen Bros. movie, everything goes wrong when the trio of bodybuilding bros kidnaps and robs a crime lord.
