Peter Jackson's LORD OF THE RINGS was released ten years ago today. It's almost unbelievable that it has been that long. I remember those were my staple holiday movies for those three years, and I was elated when RETURN OF THE KING won best picture. So, it was only a matter of time before an adaptation of THE HOBBIT would happen. Thankfully Jackson took the reigns of director once again for Tolkein's work, and now we have our first trailer for the next Christmas.
