I'm not sure if it was the editing or the just the insane post-apocalyptic vibe, but this new MAD MAX: FURY ROAD has me so pumped, I think I'm going to go run 10 miles! I won't really say much else. Check it out after the break.

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Trailer is Smashing!

It feels that sooner than later we are going to hit Peak Superhero Movies. Just looking at the next 5 years alone can make you think that. It doesn't mean, however, that we won't have a good time getting tired of comic book movies. All of this goes to say that the new AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON trailer looks rad as hell. There's a lot more implied plot points here and even themes that might carry out all through CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR. Super Bowl Trailer Round-Up!

As usual, the Super Bowl was a huge ratings giant and as always there was a sleuth of movie trailers that came on during the game. The strange thing is that no one seemed to be talking about them. It seemed that Katy Perry's halftime show was a bigger deal. To be honest, most aren't anything to write much about with the exception of the FURIOUS 7 trailer, which is amazing!!! The second best is the INSIDE OUT trailer for the Puppy Bowl. Anyway, here's some of the better trailers that played during the game.

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Trailer Drops..Is It May Yet?

Marvel has been doing a fantastic job at just giving us little teases of their next Avengers film. The first trailer gave us a glimpse to the James Spader's Ultron persona, which I have a feeling will steal the film. And now a trailer was released tonight which shows much more action!

Here's the synopsis:

With S.H.I.E.L.D. destroyed and the Avengers needing a hiatus from stopping threats, Tony Stark attempts to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program with Ultron, a self-aware, self-teaching, artificial intelligence. However, his plan backfires when Ultron decides that humans are the main enemy and sets out to eradicate them from Earth, and it is up to Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, the Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, along with support from Nick Fury and Maria Hill, to stop him from enacting his plans. Along the way, the Avengers encounter the powerful twins, Pietro and Wanda Maximoff, as well as the familiar Vision.

INSIDE OUT Trailer Is Full Of Emotions

It's safe to say that Pixar is at its best when creating original films. Sure, most of their sequels are pretty good (except CARS 2, but we don't talk about that one), but there's something about the magic they bring to their original stories.

For their next film, INSIDE OUT brings human emotions literally to life. Emotions become a physical thing, and we get to see how they run our lives.

Here's the synopsis:

Riley is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Riley is guided by her emotions – Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness. The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley’s main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.

TERMINATOR: GENISYS Trailer Drops!

Whether we want it or not, a new Terminator trilogy (yes, you read that correctly) has begun. The last two films, RISE OF THE MACHINES and SALVATION, left almost no impression on the film going audience. I saw both and can't even tell you what they were about. But apparently some believe there is still enough people out there who want to see yet another version of this story.

Here's the synopsis:

The year is 2029. John Connor, leader of the resistance continues the war against the machines. At the Los Angeles offensive, John's fears of the unknown future begin to emerge when TECOM spies reveal a new plot by SkyNet that will attack him from both fronts; past and future, and will ultimately change warfare forever.

On the verge of winning the war against Skynet, Connor sends his trusted lieutenant Kyle Reese back through time to save his mother's life and ensure his own existence. But what he finds on the other side is like nothing he ever expected. After being orphaned at age 9 by a Terminator, Sarah Connor has since been brought up by another Terminator, played by Schwarzenegger, programmed to protect her. This Terminator has then trained her to face her destiny, which she adamantly tries to reject.

STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS Teaser is Here!

At least Abrams and crew know how to cut a trailer. I've not been pretty vocal about it here,  but I am over STAR WARS as a whole. The brand has saturated pop culture to the point of making what was once of the scariest villains in movies, Darth Vader, a punch line through merchandising. Lucas' decision to further alter the movies in the Blu-ray set further cemented my feelings. As such, when news of THE FORCE AWAKENS comes out, they're met with complete apathy. Still, I knew that the teaser would be a huge deal so I had to watch it and I'm glad I did. Check it out after the break thanks to the Star Wars YouTube channel.

JURASSIC WORLD Trailer Drops And Everyone Should Hang On To Their Butts

It's been twelve years since we've tried to forget about JURASSIC PARK 3. I can't even tell much what that third one was about it was so forgettable. But now we have our first look at the new JURASSIC WORLD trailer, which brings all the nostalgia and warm feelings back that we first felt from the original film.

Here's the synopsis:

Twenty-two years after the events of JURASSIC PARK, Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. This new park is owned by the Masrani Corporation. Owen (Pratt), a member of Jurassic World's on-site staff, conducts behavioral research on the Velociraptors, but things go awry when the research team accidentally unleash a genetically modified dinosaur into the park.

To say that Jonesy and I love PITCH PERFECT is an understatement. That's easily become one of our go-to "comfort" movies in the past few years. Thanks to Latino Review, we have a new poster, which you can see above, and more importantly, the Ellen Show YouTube page posted the new trailer!

A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT Trailer Drops!

I'm not sure what it is about filmmakers from overseas, but they seem to really understand how to create a tense atmosphere and tone for scary films. This trailer is no exception. It's eerie yet fascinating.

Here's the synopsis:

Strange things are afoot in Bad City. The Iranian ghost town, home to prostitutes, junkies, pimps and other sordid souls, is a bastion of depravity and hopelessness where a lonely vampire stalks its most unsavory inhabitants. Cinema's first Iranian vampire western, Ana Lily Amirpour's debut feature basks in the sheer pleasure of pulp. A joyful mash-up of genre, archetype, and iconography, its prolific influences span spaghetti westerns, graphic novels, horror films, and the Iranian New Wave. Amped by a mix of Iranian rock, techno, and Morricone-inspired riffs, its airy, anamorphic, black-and-white aesthetic and artfully drawn-out scenes combine the simmering tension of Sergio Leone with the weird surrealism of David Lynch.

It's here. Finally. No more waiting and guessing what we will see. Through not the best of circumstances, the first teaser for AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON has been leaked onto the web. It's full of everything you could want in a teaser, and will make the waiting over the next six months very, very painful.

INHERENT VICE Trailer Drops!

Director Paul Thomas Anderson is coming out with a movie and people are freaking out. And since it seems that it's the concensus that THE MASTER was a good movie, there's some excitement that he has reunited with Joaquin Phoenix, the lead of the aforementioned movie. The trailer seems like it has a really fun almost Coens-esque vibe to it with the darkly comedic tone. Check it out after the break.

INTO THE WOODS Teaser Drops but Where's the Music?

Into The Woods is another amazing musical by Stephen Sondheim. He's the mastermind behind Sweeney Todd and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. His musicals are always full of interesting characters and intricate music. SWEENEY TODD was adapted into a film in 2007 with moderate success.

Now his next musical to be adapted is INTO THE WOODS. This musical smashes classic fairy tale characters (Cinderella, The Baker, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, Jack and the Beanstalk) into the ultimate story. There's an evil witch who looks to teach various characters a lesson or two.

Comic Con 2014 Trailer Dump: MOCKINGJAY- PART 1, MAD MAX: FURY ROAD, and THE HOBBIT

Comic Con 2014 is still going strong, and everywhere you turn, there are more announcements about anticipated upcoming films and TV shows. One of the best things that comes out of Comic Con every year are the trailers. Studios use this convention to build buzz (though some film don't need it) and to premiere teasers and trailers. 

We have three trailers here which look very exciting: THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY PART 1, MAD MAX: ROAD FURY, and THE HOBBIT: THE BATTLE OF THE FIVE ARMIES.

The New GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Trailer Makes Me Even More Excited!

Yesterday, many people flocked to their local IMAX to check out an extended 17 minute preview of GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. If you were like me and missed it, never fear because another full length trailer has dropped and it's chalked full of new and amazing footage.

GONE GIRL Full Trailer Drops!

A couple months ago, we got our first tease of David Fincher's new film, GONE GIRL, based on the popular best seller. The teaser was a perfect to give minimal amount of details, but still enticed us enough to keep us interested.

Now we have a full length trailer, which is chalked full of great scenes that just add to the mystery of the story. Be careful though. If you want to complete be surprised and not know anything about the mystery surrounding the disappearance of Ben Affleck's wife, then I suggest skipping the trailer.

New TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES Trailer Debunks An Internet Rumor

As the release of the new TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES movie approaches, the movie doesn't seem AS terrible as was previously expected. It still looks weird, but one of the more controversial issues with the movie has been proven false in this the new trailer. THE BOXTROLLS Looks To Be Another Laika Studios Gem

I'll be honest, I'm excited for this movie because it's a Laika Studio release. They did CORALINE and PARANORMAN which have both been absolute favorites during the year that they were released. Their art design is just so beautiful to look and the stories have a lot of heart and maturity for kid's movies. This trailer, courtesy of Yahoo Movies, is awesome to watch. SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR Trailer Is More Of The Same And That's A Good Thing

Stylistically, I enjoyed the hell out of the first SIN CITY movie. It was nothing groundbreaking, but I was in college and it just vibed well with me. The fact that this sequel is still happening is crazy to me. The movie had a long production cycle and it seemed to be one of those movie that would just end up getting cancelled. But good news! Thanks to Dimension Horror, we have a new trailer for movie. Check it out after the break.

INTERSTELLAR Trailer Drops Us Into Nolan's Vision of Space!

A few months ago, we got our first glimpse at INTERSTELLAR, Christopher Nolan's latest endeavor. The teaser showed us next to nothing, but now we have a full length trailer to keep our interest until later this year.

INTERSTELLAR will chronicle the adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.
