While I was not too keen on the previous KINGS OF SUMMER trailer. It definitely seemed to catering to the standard indie arthouse theater crowd. This new trailer, courtesy of Funny or Die, is the closest thing that replicates the experience of watching this movie. I particularly love the way it takes the beat that kids are banging on the pipes and transitions to a rap song. But enough of me talking. Check out the totes NSFW trailer below.
Like I said before, as great as the trailer is, it doesn't capture just how funny and heartfelt this movie is. You can see mine and Jonesy's review for it from DIFF and you can rest assured that until this movie comes out, I'm going to hype it up like crazy. THE KINGS OF SUMMER is now one of my favorite movies of the year, and definitely the best comedy, look for it in theaters soon!
THE KINGS OF SUMMER is directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, stars Nick Robinson, Gabriel Basso, Moises Arias, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie, and Megan Mullally, and comes out nationwide on May 31st, 2013 and will come to Dallas June 7th, 2013.
