For Funsies: Watch Melisandre totally murder Norman Osborn in a music video.

As a fan of both art forms, I am always ecstatic when movies and music collide in a very gorgeous way like they do in today's video for Antony and the Johnson's song, "Cut The World." It is so gorgeous and hearing the song live is great as well.  Thanks to the AVClub for posting the music video which stars Willem Dafoe and Carice Van Houten, who is better know as Melisandre from GAME OF THRONES. Check out the video below.

For Funsies: GAME OF THRONES Season 2 as a 16-Bit RPG.

So, it's been a couple of months since GAME OF THRONES' second season ended. Thankfully, I've still BREAKING BAD to watch so that lessened the fact that we have to wait another year for the next season. But those that still need their Westoros fix can check out this great video from College Humor. Check it out below:

Very much like the BOYS trailer that I posted the other day, I like this video because you can tell the people behind it are into the show. They also lovingly poke fun at some of the issues that have plagued the show in its second season. I imagine Littlefinger Dance Parties might become the rage with the nerdier hipsters out there.

Comic-Con Round Up of TV Madness: FIREFLY, THE WALKING DEAD, FRINGE, and GAME OF THRONES

Another awesome Mondo print only available at Comic-Con

Did you know that Comic-Con isn't all about movies? Hard to believe since most of the news that comes out feels like it's just about film, but there's always a plethora of TV news and previews that get released as well.

For Funsies: The National Celebrate The Lannisters

Javi here. I've got an amazing song to share with you today. It's from the band The National doing a gorgeously haunting rendition of the in-universe song, "The Rains of Castamere", from the HBO original show, GAME OF THRONES. According to the Game of Thrones Wiki, the song details Tywin Lannister's victory against House Ryene who rebelled against his father Tytos Lannister. From the sounds of the song, he didn't just defeat House Ryene, he completely annihilated them. Given this, I have no clue why  Listen to the song below, Antiquiet, where I found the song video is saying that there's spoilers for the show since this happened in the past, but just to be safe,  SPOILER WARNING(?). Check out the song below.

For Funsies: Game of Thrones Intro Finally Has Words!

I'm not the music expert on this site, but I have to say that the Game of Thrones intro is pretty catchy. There have been a few different videos floating around in the past parodying the intro, including one from The Simpsons, but now the comedy team of Ruin the Internet has finally put some (pretty spot on) lyrics to the semi-infamous orchestral intro.

Check it out! (Spoilers if you literally know nothing about the show or haven't seen season one)

I feel like a sandwich now.

For Funsies: How Game of Thrones Season 1 SHOULD Have Ended

Jonesy here. As I'm sure like many of you, we here absolutely love Game of Thrones, both books and the TV series. It's one of the more solid and well produced series I've seen in a while. Sadly though, I do not have HBO, so I am at the mercy of others to either invite me over or wait semi-patiently until season two is released on Blu-Ray.

So this fun little video, curtsey Howitshouldhaveended.com, depicts how season one SHOULD have ended. Now, this video is super spoilerly, and if you haven't seen season one yet, don't watch it...and you should also remedy that as soon as possible.

Enjoy!

For Funsies: Simpsons Spoofs Game Of Thrones Opening

Javi here. It seems every that has anything related to movies or TV has posted about this, but it's too cool not to share, especially given that today, the first season of GAME OF THRONES came out on Blu-ray today. Via Cinema Blend, we see The Simpsons get a little relevant with their spoof of the amazing HBO show. Hit the jump to check out the video with the original opening for comparison.
