Full ELYSIUM Trailer Drops So Much Sassy Matt Damon

In a summer that seems to be filled with a post-apotcalyptic stories, ELYSIUM seems to be one of the few stand out thrillers. Maybe that's the biased towards director Neill Blomkamp, who directed one of my favorites, DISTRICT 9. In ELYSIUM, Blomkamp is back telling an allegorical story of class struggle with the poor having to live on Earth, but the rich live in a space city called Elysium.

We got a teaser trailer a couple months ago, but now we get a giant, full trailer which elaborates on more details of why Matt Damon is trying to get up to Elysium. This trailer could be filled with some plot spoilers, so I would steer clear if you want to go in completely blind.

But otherwise, check it out after the break!

Random, bizarre poster art

Early in this cold morning, I saw some of the coolest, if not most ridiculous, poster art from foreign countries I've seen.  Figured I'd share some with you beautiful people.

You can find these posters and many more right here. This article really made me think of how exciting this medium has the potential of being.  Nowadays, we get the character/face posters, and while some of the posters that were featured are downright cheesy and ridiculous, they have a certain charm to them.  That's not to say that there's not any good posters coming out. Just take a look over at Gawker for some great ones, but there's still a charm to the ones above that people should have a chance to check out.

Source Code Trailer is here!

2009 truly felt like the year that Science Fiction went back to its roots filled with social commentary with releases such as DISTRICT 9 and MOON.  Obviously most of you know of DISTRICT 9, but MOON was not seen by many people as it could have been.  It was an amazingly original film by first time director Duncan Jones with a microscopic budget that visually blew many films out of the water.  Now, we have the first trailer for Mr. Jones' sophomore outing, SOURCE CODE.  I will say that this seems like a more mainstream movie than MOON ever was, but then again, this is just the trailer.  The cast includes Jake Gyllenhall, Vera Farmiga, and Michelle Monaghan, which is great because I've been dying to see Gyllenhall is a decent movie for a while as well as seeing Vera Farmiga in something else since UP IN THE AIR.  Check out the trailer below!
